A Nation Maturing
Sen. Ben Sasse has written The Vanishing American Adult: Our coming of Age Crisis and How to Rebuild a Culture of Self-Reliance. We will focus on these ideas and compare them to those of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s 19th century take on the subject.
And What of the UUs?
The UUs will gather in New Orleans for a Justice General Assembly. We will use some of the worship resources and social justice actions.

Lets explore together how Unitarian Universalists can reimagine and chart a entirely new road map that is centered around an open and inclusive table where all are welcome and no one is excluded. As builders of the beloved community, how do we adopt worldview that widens the community and invites all to the the table?
RE Sunday
Our Religious Education year ends today, and the summer worship schedule begins. Each RE class will share what they did this year, and some members will bridge up/out. Note there is only one service at 10 am for the summer.
Sharing Our Wishes for the New Year
What do you hope for in 2017? Bring fruit, or breakfast baked goods to share. We will have a short service to welcome 2017, share our hopes for the coming year. NOTE: There is ONE SERVICE this morning.
Christmas Celebration and Fellowship
We will have a short service, then share some refreshments as we celebrate Christmas Day together. NOTE: There is ONE SERVICE this morning.
Animal Blessing
Every year, we welcome our four legged friends to the service for a blessing. All animals [and pictures of animals] are welcomed…please keep them with you at all times. This is the last service on the summer schedule. We return to 2 services [9:30 and 11 am] next week.
UU and the Arts
This service will be a presentation of what the children have worked on this summer, which has been to look at how our principles can be viewed through different art forms.
