Sen. Ben Sasse has written The Vanishing American Adult: Our coming of Age Crisis and How to Rebuild a Culture of Self-Reliance. We will focus on these ideas and compare them to those of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s 19th century take on the subject.
The UUs will gather in New Orleans for a Justice General Assembly. We will use some of the worship resources and social justice actions.

Our Religious Education year ends today, and the summer worship schedule begins. Each RE class will share what they did this year, and some members will bridge up/out. Note there is only one service at 10 am for the summer.

Every year, we welcome our four legged friends to the service for a blessing. All animals [and pictures of animals] are welcomed…please keep them with you at all times. This is the last service on the summer schedule. We return to 2 services [9:30 and 11 am] next week.
This service will be a presentation of what the children have worked on this summer, which has been to look at how our principles can be viewed through different art forms.
