Each year, we celebrate Christmas Eve together with carols, stories and candles. Join us!
Rev. Elaine Strawn at 9:30 will give an abbreviated version of the holiday pageant. At 11 am, children, youth and adult actors will present ‘Holiday Lawsuit,’ a fun and informative play that explores the origins of Christmas and the children’s choir will perform.”
We continue our multi-generational service with a look at our UU Principles in a RealTime. Which one will it be THIS time? Come, find out!
Our second multi-generation service pushes us deeper into the important question: How do we live our Principles in everyday life? The service will be interactive, meditative and FUN! Karol Crosbie has written a short Reader’s Theatre piece to enhance our imagination. We encourage all ages to attend.
UUs have always valued the experience and insights from people of all ages. Dedicated to that history, we are determined to present a multi-generation service on the fourth Sunday of each month…at both services. Every year, we welcome our four legged friends to the service for a blessing. All animals [and pictures of animals] are welcomed…please keep them with you at all times. This is the last service on the summer schedule. We return to 2 services [9:30 and 11 am] next week.
This service will be a presentation of what the children have worked on this summer, which has been to look at how our principles can be viewed through different art forms. As we come to the end of the regular programming year, our facilitators and students share their learnings and experiences with us. This is, truly, a LifeSpan Education religious tradition.
What does it mean to live out our 7th principle? Kevin Lowry and the Youth Community will lead us in worship as we discover what it means to put our Unitarian Universalist faith into action! Children and Youth will remain in the service so that we may be in community together!
