Candlelight Christmas Eve service

At 7pm:  This will be our traditional service with readings and stories and carols.  You are welcome to bring some of those extra Christmas cookies for sharing after the service. There will be non-alcoholic Wassail after the service.

The Wonder of Christmas

at 10 am.  Every year, the season revives us with light and memories and hope. There are no RE classes, but the nursery will be open.

Blessed Births

This morning, the 9:30 service will portray three wondrous births:  Confucius, the Buddha, and Jesus in pageant form. The 11:00 service will simply focus on their stories.  

Faith: What Undergirds Us?

Faith: what exactly is it? Sometimes it rather scares us, in the context of blind faith or absolute faith. What role does doubt play? In Unitarian Universalism, we believe that faith and doubt reinforce one another, each making the other stronger through the years. We cannot have one without the other, can we?

Bound by Covenant

If you don’t have a creed, what holds us together?  Covenant, of course!  Our determination and promise to stay here through good and bad, to create a community of support and growth, to find meaning together.  It’s not easy; but it’s rich.  We welcome new members in the services this morning.

Hospitality in Focus

Hospitality has so many meanings.  “Will you come to dinner?”  “Come in from the cold.”  “Let me offer you sanctuary from homelessness, deportation, loneliness.”  What does it mean to you?  Where have you experienced hospitality?  When have you offered hospitality?
