We are approaching the second anniversary of the mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in Parkland, Florida. Students who survived that shooting have become activists for safer gun laws. We can draw hope and inspiration from them, and from the namesake of their school, Marjory Stoneman Douglas, who was an activist herself.
