January Open Plate Collection

Our Open Plate will be collected this Sunday the 29th for One Eighty, an organization which helps many in our community who are suffering from the debilitating effects of drug and alcohol abuse.  In addition One Eighty offers programs and shelter for those who have been victims of physical abuse. Our donations are much needed!

Caregivers’ Support Group

Caring for parents? Partners? Others? This group will have it’s initial meeting on Tuesday, January 31 from 7:30-9:00. We become stronger by sharing our stories, resources, hopes and fears. Questions? Contact Elaine Strawn.

In summary, 127 older, active, satisfied people filled out the survey.  Most meaningful is the Sunday service, the sermon and our community of friends. One service at 10 am on the holidays.

Christmas and New Years both fall on a Sunday this year.  There is only one service at 10 am those mornings.  There is no Religious Education classes either morning. As usual, we will hold a Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7 pm on the 24th.

People to People in December
