Prophets have a way of saying the hard but real truths in times where power seeks to crush dissent. In a time where people felt little hope in exile, the prophet Jeremiah speaks powerfully to Kings and those struggling to find life, meaning, and purpose in exile. Even when times are uncertain, how can we plant seeds for “micro” transformations to blossom? Jeremiah reminds us that the world may not be able to return to what it was, but we have the power to create and transform with what we have and where we are now.
