We offer many opportunities for spiritual growth, intellectual challenge, enrichment and joy through participation in activities of interest.

Spiritual Practice

Inner Peace Yoga• Meets Mondays at 6:00 pm.  Certified and registered therapeutic yoga teacher, Dae Evans, guides you in core strengthening, energy building, and inner awareness. This is a spiritual practice of mostly slow and basic yoga, ideal for anyone interested in deepening their commitment to well-being and peace through meditative movement. Participants should be able to get up and down from the floor and have their doctor’s approval if experiencing a recent serious injury or surgery. The one hour-class often runs 15 minutes longer, and you will need to bring a yoga mat and a coverlet for your body. Dress in flexible clothing and in layers when it is cold. No socks or shoes needed, and best not to eat two hours prior to class. Beginners and disease sufferers welcome! If you have any questions, please contact Dae at daeevans @ Zoho.com

Zen Society of Wooster • Meets every Monday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. We practice non-traditional Soto Zen. The evening consists of sitting and walking meditation, a brief chanting service and a discussion period. Instruction is provided. Newcomers welcome. We like to ask people to arrive a bit early as we start promptly at 7:00 pm. For more information visit their website.
