This month, let’s focus on Thanksgiving Needs for People to People (e.g. dessert mixes, gravy, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, broth), and Staying Warm for Homeward Bound (e.g. long sleeve T’s, socks, gloves, hats, warm undies, etc.)

UUFWC Yard Sale 2025!

The UUFWC YARD SALE is on for 2025!The sale will be held July 25 & 26, so start cleaning out those closets and stay tuned for details. Landscape Day and Potluck Extravaganza!

Our annual dress-down landscape day and potluck extravaganza is May 18 after the service. We will be spreading mulch and doing general clean up.   Bring your wheelbarrows, shovels, gloves and a dish to share and help make our grounds beautiful!  

Shelf Stable Food Collection

This month we are collecting shelf stable foods such as spaghetti sauce, pasta, rice,  peanut butter, jelly/jam, canned fruits and ready to serve soups for People to People.  Please place your donations in the People to People basket in the lobby.  

Homeward Bound Stocking Tree

“Greetings, UUFWC Elves! We invite you to help Santa by donating a pair of socks to our Homeward Bound Stocking Tree. These will be gathered until the last Sunday before the Christmas holiday, and then donated to Homeward Bound. Look for the tree with the socks on it to add your donation!”

E.D.G.E (Elderhood Discussion Group Experience)

EDGE (Elderhood Discussion Group Experience) will hold its holiday gathering this Wednesday, December 18, at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Look forward to some reminiscing about Christmases past, some seasonal caroling, a game or two, a few sweet treats, and a White Elephant gift exchange. Deck the halls with boughs of holly!!

Winter Solstice Meditation Walk

There will be an evening Winter Solstice Outdoor Meditation Walk on Sunday, 12/22 at 6:00 pm.  Dress warm as we will be outside. There will be warming refreshments inside after the ritual. Questions?  Talk to Sharon Delgadillo
