Religious Exploration Start-Up

This is my invitation to you to help write the next chapter of UUFWC religious education by participating in a Religious Exploration Start-Up Workshop on November 21st with me, Jess Eikleberry, our youth ministry coordinator, and Rev. Jennie.  UUA Regional Field Staff, Rev. Sunshine J. Wolfe, will facilitate our conversations. The purpose of the workshop is to celebrate this important transition in the life of the congregation and to affirm the commitment of the congregation to quality religious education.

These workshops will offer opportunities for:

• Looking Backwards- Where have we been? What have we been through?
• Looking Inward – How do we operate? What is the purpose of our RE ministry? What are we here for?
• Looking Forward – Where are we going? What can we accomplish?
• Covenanting – How shall we be together? What can we promise each other?

These Saturday workshops are ideal for anyone interested in the Children and Youth’s Religious Exploration Ministry, but most especially members of the Board and RE Committee, RE leaders, parents and caregivers, and the Youth Community. Join the active conversation!

Saturday, November 21

11:00 am to 1:00 pm – This workshop is open to everyone who would like to take an active role in the vision for our religious exploration ministry for families with children and youth. Especially, this is the time for caregivers and parents and youth community members.  

2:30 pm to 4:30 pm – This workshop is an invitation to the members of the Board of Trustees, the RE Committee, Sunday RE leaders, OWL leaders,Youth Community leaders, and staff members.
