A conversation about kids, guns, and safety. Sunday, August 4 at 11:15am, following the service.
Research shows that an estimated 4.6 million American children live in homes with at least one gun that is loaded and unlocked. Every year, hundreds of American children gain access to firearms and unintentionally shoot themselves or someone else. Access to firearms increases the risk of suicide by three times. The statistics are overwhelming, but there are simple actions we can all take to significantly reduce unintentional gun deaths. This presentation is for parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, neighbors, friends, gun-owners, and non gun-owners… any adult who cares about children!
