It’s June and it’s Garage Sale time!

Our annual Upscale Garage Sale fundraiser will take place at the UUFWC on Friday June 28th from 3:00-7:00pm and Saturday June 29th from 9:00am-1:00pm. The garage sale is open to the public and is a great opportunity to showcase the UUFWC to our local community members.

Without the help of UU members and friends this sale would not be possible. There are various ways to help
contribute to a successful 2019 sale.

1. Donate items: Donations will be accepted Sunday June 16th through Tuesday June 25th. Donations can
be placed in the RE wing, the specific room will be marked. If you have items to donate but need help getting
them to UUFWC, please contact Erin Palmer.

2. Volunteer: There are many volunteer opportunities are available the week of the sale and during the sale.
Sign up sheets are in the UUFWC lobby. Please consider staying after the service on Sunday June 23rd. We will clear out the sanctuary in preparation for the sale, set up tables, and begin bringing boxes of donated items from the RE wing. With the help of many this should take no longer than 45 minutes.

3. Spread the word: Flyers for the garage sale are in the lobby. Please share with family, friends, and co-
workers. Dust off your Upscale Garage Sale yard signs! Last year we purchased yard signs to advertise our
sale. If you have one or more in storage, please put it up Sunday, June 23rd. If you have a sign but don’t plan
to use it, please return it to the UU and we can find another home for it.
